Style a Pooch

Due to the Jan storm and my dog's groomer closing down unexpectedly, my dog had a lot of hair by the time Geraldine got him. She was very kind and considerate with Watson. She called me to inform me of progress,snags and suggestions through out the grooming session. We loved the cut she gave Watson and she care and attention to care and the dog's wellbeing. Geraldine at Style a pooch really took the time to understand what kind of groom I wanted. She made sure that scrappy was comfortable with everything she did and she was really good with him. He looked lovely afterwards, was well cleaned and just as importantly, he had a positive experience and was happy coming out. The premises is clean and tidy and there is on site parking. I would recommend style a pooch.

Brought Milo our miniture Schnauzer into Geraldine today for his first grooming. Geraldine made Milo and myself very comfortable the moment we entered and Geraldine looked after Milo, giving him all the attention he needed to make him comfortable while working her magic touch. Geraldine done a amazing job on Milo and made him look so fresh and looking stylish to strut in style, he's looking forward to his next appointment. We can't recommend her enough for anybody looking for a dog groomer, thanks again Geraldine for such a great job!

We brought our Golden retriever Millie in for a grooming on recommendation from friends and are delighted to say we have a new groomer. We loved everything about it. Easy and accommodating booking process, wonderful result and most of all the listened to what way we wanted Millie groomed. In the past groomers have just shaved her and washed her whereas Style a Pooch understood the breed and really took time and care with her. Millie was very happy and at ease during and after too.Highly recommended 👌

I bring Luna, a large Golden doodle into Geraldine for a full groom every 6-8 weeks. I am always confident that she will return looking like a show dog. It is very evident that Geraldine loves what she is doing and that she has great adoration for Luna every time she meets her. Brought my golden cocker spaniel Albert for a groom with Style a Pooch Dog Grooming over a week ago. Albert is a very hairy and active cocker. Given we live on a smallholding he’s out and about covered in mud, sand, twigs, hay, branches, bushes and whatever sticky shrubs are about on a daily basis so let’s just say he gets pretty matted. I expected Geraldine to clip him fully given the mats but instead she dedicated 4.5 hours to dematting him in order to keep his gorgeous natural coat, he looked like a show cocker after his session! She was very gentle and patient with him which is very important to me given he’s a rescue. He thoroughly enjoyed the pampering, giving her paws while on his best behaviour. Thanks for taking such good care of my boy Geraldine, he will be back in to see you again. See before and after photos.

Patrick took the time to ensure he understood exactly the cut we wanted. His confident treatment and care for our dog left us feeling reassured. Our dog was calm and happy when we came to pick her up. I would describe my Schnauzers grooming experience as professional. Happy to recommend!

Had a great experience with style a pooch, Philip was amazing at grooming my big golden doodle, he did exactly what I asked him and Monty looked even fresh a few days later, Roxy got a wash and a ear clean and she looked super. I nervously dropped off my newly adopted long haired German Shepherd for a full groom, he had a lot of matted hair and because he was not used to being groomed, he was very nervous as well. All I can say is wow!! He looks like a completely different dog and was so well taken care of… I also received a full grooming schedule for him which takes away the hassle of bookings and knowing what to do!!! I cannot thank Geraldine and her team enough … would absolutely recommend with no hesitation!!!

As a first-time dog owner, I didn't know what to anticipate, but Molly, our 8-month-old cockapoo, went in resembling a miniature Chewbacca and emerged looking like royalty. Just had my papillon groomed at style a pooch behind the railway vets! What a job!!! Couldn’t believe it! Patrick did an amazing job! Alfie my dog always hides under the couch after a groom for ages, today he didn’t! Patrick is so kind and gentle, I really felt that he helped him feel safe! I cannot rate Style a Pooch dog grooming service highly enough. I was offered an appointment within a couple of days of enquiring. My 15 year old Caviller King Charles ‘Lucy’ was well overdue a grooming which I was putting off due to her old age and deteriorating physical health. Geraldine and Patrick took such good care of her, and even phoned me during the grooming to discuss issues with her care before proceeding. Lucy returned a new dog. Thank you Geraldine & Patrick. 🙏🏻

Had the best experience at Style a Pooch!! Have two puppies needing their first groom and from initial contact through to leaving the salon, both Geraldine and Patrick were absolutely fabulous to deal with. Both puppies didn’t want to leave!! Patrick was so good with the both of them. They were licking his face at the end of it! If that’s not two happy puppies I don’t know what is! Couldn’t recommend Style a Pooch more. They still have that fresh groomed look and smell days later! Already can’t wait to book repeat appointment!!

I would highly recommend style a Pooch grooming service. I have a 7 month Bichon frese whose fur was thick and matted. Kerryn looked after her so well and did a brilliant job on her coat. Phoebe had a great big tick under her neck and Kerryn brought her into the vets who removed it professionally. I will definitely be using style a Pooch grooming salon again.

They did a great job on our dog Harvey. He looks smashing. The grooming products do not irritate his skin. They make sure he is not stressed out during the groom which we really appreciate.

I had my labrador Teal groomed in Style a Pooch today and was delighted with the service and the finished result! She looks and smells fabulous and her flyaways got a lovely tidy trim! Staff were very pleasant to deal with. We will return for sure!
